I was born in Waihi, New Zealand, and spent my early years living on farms across the North Island. I am the proud mother of eight children. Family Jail: A True Story of Surviving Sexual Abuse is my first book—a deeply personal story that needed to be shared. Writing it has been part of my healing journey, allowing me to process and move forward from the experiences that shaped my life. Through this book, I preserve the memories—the good, the bad, and the painful—so they are never forgotten.
